‘Tis a new year and the bee season is creeping in upon us as the days begin to lengthen. We are looking forward to this 2011 bee season and continuing to learn and share with our bees. We had the most bees we’ve ever had going into winter this past year and we are anxious to see how they pull through and blossom!
We officially begin taking orders on Tues, Jan. 18th- right after MLK weekend. However, we are currently taking messages so call in now to get in line early and secure your bees for this 2011 season!

We allow queens a longer period in their mating nuclei before harvesting. This limits the amount of queens we can produce each season. However, this ensures that the queens you purchase are high quality, proven layers with much less chance of supercedure. We value our customers and look to serve Beekeepers near and far by providing naturally hearty, performance driven stock. We share because we care!
Along with our continued Rocky Mountain Reina and Great Lakes Sooper Yooper Survivor Queens and nucs- New this year we offer EARLY SEASON limited availability of Rocky Mountain Reina SURVIVOR STOCK BREEDERS and Select Overwintered/Tested Breeding Companion Nucleus Colonies! Ready in April!
These beauties are cream of the crop! and have demonstrated their overwintering ability and the diverse and adverse conditions of the southern Rockies. They have a whole fall and winter under their belt and are proven layers with tenacity to perform. They make great breeding companions in any apiary.
Nucs available for pick up in Truchas, NM and for delivery to Marquette, MI in May/June. Queens harvested 4 weeks post emergence and shipped via USPS Piority and Express mail. Checks, money orders and PayPal (for credit/debit card users- no acct. needed).
